Technical Bio

Dr. Cannon has been a senior management consultant in the public and private sectors. At Abt Associates Inc. (Boston, MA), Dr. Cannon led market strategy engagements for pharmaceutical, health care and technology clients. Her consulting clients have included employers such as Chevron and Ford Motor Company; technology firms such as IBM, Agilent/Philips Medical Systems, and IDX Systems; MCOs such as Wellpoint, United Healthcare, Cigna; insurers such as CNA Insurance and Great West; pharmaceutical firms such as Merck, Eli Lilly and Pfizer. Her client work has taken her to Venezuela, parts of Europe and South Africa. She has completed public-sector engagements for the City of Philadelphia, the City of Boston, the County of Miami-Dade, HCFA, Massachusetts-Medicaid and several large nonprofit health care systems (including Massachusetts General Hospital/Partners Health Care and Stanford University Hospital System). She received her doctorate in public policy and health economics from the Heller School, Brandeis University.

For over 12 years, I have partnered with organizations and/or teams on strategic consulting projects. My expertise is in market and competitive analyses, new product development, and organizational response to market changes. I work with start-up firms, investment groups and large companies seeking strategic insight for specific business purposes. In addition, I facilitate organizational development projects and facilitate strategic initiative efforts.
